    Este periódico antiguo fue encontrado en la biblioteca del Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y el Caribe que se encuentra en lo que es conocido hoy en día como el Viejo San Juan. El periódico estaba en muy buenas condiciones aunque con un poco de hongo, moho, y algunos rasguños y dobleces en las esquinas de las paginas. Sospechamos que fue uno de los últimos periódicos nacionalistas impresos en Puerto Rico ya que el tema principal es la muerte de Pedro Albizu Campos a finales de los 1960. Es un periódico del 1965, de los meses marzo y abril, impreso exclusivamente por el Partido Nacionalista de Puerto Rico a el final de su vida, ya que después de la muerte de Albizu Campos, y la infiltración de creencias comunistas que dividieron el partido, no duro mucho, y finalmente a principio de los 1970, se podría llamar oficialmente muerta la organización pero no el mensaje.

         Las fotos de las paginas de los periódicos son suficientemente grandes para que se puedan leer, con un tamaño de aproximadamente 3000 x 2000 píxeles. Las paginas 38 y 39 faltan, eran obituarios de nacionalistas puertorriqueños caídos en acción. Cuando volvamos de nuevo a la biblioteca trataremos de conseguir las paginas que faltan.

    This old newspaper was found in the library of the “Centro de Estudios Avanzados de Puerto Rico y el Caribe” that is found in what today is called Old San Juan. The newspaper was in very good condition even thought it had a little bit of mould, rust, and some scratches and tearings in the sides of the paper. We suspect that this newspaper was one of the last nationalist newspapers printed in Puerto Rico because the main subject is the death of Pedro Albizu Campos in the late 1960’s. Its a 1965 newspaper from the months of March and April, printed exclusively by the Nationalist Party of Puerto Rico in the end of its life, because after the death of Albizu Campos, and the infiltration of communist beliefs that divided the party, it didn’t last long, and finally at the beginning of the 1970’s, the party could be called officially dead even thought not the message.

      The photos of the pages of the newspaper are large enough to be read, with an image size of approximately 3000 x 2000 pixels. The pages 38 and 39 are missing, they where obituaries of puertorican nationalist that had fallen in action. When we come back to the library we will try to find those missing pages.
